LAD/Blog #16: Lincoln's Gettysburg Address

Lincoln honored the Americans who died at the battle of Gettysburg and commissioned the American people to not let them die in vain. He proclaimed the importance of preserving the union of the people, ruled by the people, and for the people which the soldiers laid down their lives for.

The Gettysburg Address was similar to FDR's Pearl Harbor Address as it reassured and gave guidance to Americans after a tragedy.
